01 / Who this is for

Who this solution stack is built for

This stack serves municipal and infrastructure integrators building smart-city monitoring, agritech providers deploying field sensors, and system integrators specifying outdoor, unattended edge computing — teams in Malaysia and Singapore who need hardware and software that survive heat, humidity, and remote operation.

Municipal & infrastructure integrators

Traffic control, waste management, and public-safety monitoring systems built for city councils, utilities, and public agencies.

Agritech solution providers

Field sensor networks, irrigation control, and environmental monitoring deployed for farms, plantations, and agricultural operators.

Outdoor deployment integrators

Unattended edge nodes in cabinets, on poles, and in the field — specified for years of service without routine site visits.

02 / The solution stack

The solution stack: Axiomtek, ICP DAS, and Adisra

The stack combines three product lines: Axiomtek IP67-rated outdoor edge AI systems for computing, ICP DAS field I/O and remote monitoring modules for sensor connectivity, and Adisra SCADA software for dashboards and alarms — supplied and integrated locally by Axiomtek Malaysia with sister company Edex Technology.

Field I/O & remote monitoring

Remote I/O and data-acquisition modules that connect environmental and agricultural sensors — soil moisture, weather, water level, power — to the edge node.

SCADA dashboards

SCADA software for utility, environmental, and agricultural monitoring — live dashboards, historical trends, and alarms for the operations team.

03 / Edge AI

Edge AI for smart cities and smart agriculture

Edge AI processes camera and sensor data directly at the outdoor node — traffic flow, waste-bin fill levels, or crop conditions — and sends only results and alerts upstream. That cuts backhaul bandwidth, keeps analytics running through network outages, and avoids streaming raw sensor data to a central server.

01

Traffic control & monitoring

Vehicle counting, incident detection, and signal timing processed at the roadside node — intersections keep operating even when the link to the traffic management centre drops.

02

Waste management

Fill-level and contamination detection at the bin or collection point, so collection routes are planned from actual demand instead of fixed schedules.

03

Crop & environmental monitoring

Weather, soil, and water conditions analyzed in the field, with only exceptions and summaries sent back to the operations dashboard.

04 / How it comes together

How a smart-agriculture deployment comes together

In a typical smart-agriculture field deployment, sensors feed into ICP DAS remote I/O modules at the field cabinet. An Axiomtek outdoor edge system processes the data locally and flags anomalies — a dry zone, a stuck valve, a pump drawing abnormal current — without waiting on a central server. An Adisra dashboard gives the operations team a live view of every site.

  1. Step 01

    Sense

Soil moisture, weather, water level, and pump sensors distributed across the field.

  2. Step 02

    Acquire

ICP DAS remote I/O modules digitize sensor signals at the field cabinet.

  3. Step 03

    Process at the edge

The Axiomtek outdoor edge system analyzes readings locally and flags anomalies — a dry zone, a stuck valve, abnormal pump current.

  4. Step 04

    Monitor

The Adisra SCADA dashboard gives the operations team a live view of every site, with alarms the moment thresholds are crossed.
